Original name to December 2008 "Kingsclear Too" The work done so far : -

Replacing all timber in what used to be the front cabin (now open plan) and the plywood panelling on port side, Due to dry rot. Stripping the galley unit (covered with sticky vinyl stuff...), replacing hinges and varnishing. Replacing electric tap, tiling the sink area and work surface. Patching a hole in starboard bow (well above waterline). Replacing corner fenders, bow fender. Tidying up the wiring. Replacing stereo and speakers. Painting the hull.
Still needs doing: Painting the superstructure.

Barboon is moored at Eel Pie Island. Have been on first long weekend trip up the Thames. "There is nothing -- absolutely nothing -- half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats".
